Dr. Adi Zarankin_Mediation

Doctor Adi Zarankin, formerly a District Court Judge in Haifa, serves as an arbitrator and a mediator in various areas of civil law. He is one of the most prominent experts in the field of arbitration and mediation in the State of Israel, undertaking the resolution of both local and international disputes in both Hebrew and English.

He possesses over four decades of experience in various parts of the legal world, starting with his senior partnership in some of the well-known Israeli law firms, to leading complex arbitration and mediation for civil cases, to his work as a judge handling economic matters in the Haifa District Court for a decade. The totality of these experiences make Doctor Zarankin a leader and well-known authority in the fields of his expertise.

His professional background is comprised of complex cases, including cases argued in the last decade that have dealt with corporate debt arrangements for some of the largest companies in the Israeli economy. For example, his portfolio includes the corporate debt settlement for the Zim shipping company, corporate debt settlements for infrastructure, industrial, and hi-tech companies, complex claims in the field of intellectual property, and large tort claims such as the “Kishon” case.

Dr. Zarankin has served as a law school lecturer in mediation at the College of Management and is currently a lecturer in sports law at the Academic Center of Law and Business in Ramat Gan. He also routinely lectures for the Israeli Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education program in various legal subjects. In addition, in January 2017, Dr. Zarankin was appointed to be a member of the control board of Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Adi Zarankin holds an LL.B. from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from New York University (NYU), and a PhD in negotiation and conflict management and resolution from Bar Ilan University.
