Dr. Adi Zarankin

In the stormy waters of commercial and economic disputes, the world of mediation and arbitration serves as a lighthouse and a safe haven for litigants. Retired District Court Judge Adi Zarankin is well-positioned within this world as one of the leading mediators and arbitrators in Israel. His extensive skills and experience—both as an attorney and a judge—with general civil legal issues, and commercial and economic law in particular, have given him the tools to handle alternative dispute resolution processes and to make use of creative and constructive solutions.

His portfolio includes some of the most complicated cases in recent decades. Included among these are corporate debt settlements for some of the largest companies in the Israeli economy, including the corporate debt settlement for the Zim shipping company, corporate debt settlements for infrastructure, industrial, and hi-tech companies, complex claims in the field of intellectual property, and large tort claims, including environmental cases such as the “Kishon” case. His full command of the English language enables him to conduct sensitive, cross-border proceedings where the appropriate forum to address the issues is not necessarily the courtroom.
